THE FOX AND THE CROW

The Fox and the Crow:

Once upon a time, there was a fox. He was very hungry. He went here and there in search of food. He could not get anything. At last, he was tired. He sat under a tree. A crow came that way. It had a piece of cheese in its beak. It sat down on a branch of the tree. It began to eat. The fox looked at it. His mouth began to water. He praised the crow. The crow was much pleased. The fox asked the crow to sing a song. The crow opened its beak to sing. The piece of cheese fell down on the ground. The fox picked it up and ate it up. Moral: Be aware of flattery. Flattery finds currency everywhere. Flattery is a weapon that never misses.
